TOPS #623The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #623 was held onTuesday evening with 10 people weighing in. There was a weight loss of 12.5 pounds, and Ami was the best loser.
This week members will focus on drinking more water. Marilyn was the best loser for the months of June and July.
There will be a weekly Zoom meeting called Spa Connection.
The Fish Bowl contest ended in a four-way tie. After a tie-breaking drawing, Ami won a gift certificate to a local store. The club’s new contest is called Falling Leaves, which will run for one month.
Members will do a Stepping Contest for the month of October. Chair exercising to music will be their program for next week.

TOPS #16The weekly meeting of Take Off Pounds Sensibly #16 was held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at The First Presbyterian Church on 54 E. Corydon St.
Leader Vickie Johnson called the meeting to order with the TOPS and KOPS Pledge. The weekly song was “Take Me Out” to the tune of “Take Me Out to the Ballgame.”
Weight Recorder Carole VanSickle and Assistant Weight Recorder Barb Smead weighed in 20 members with a loss of 19.8 pounds, and one stayed the same. Four are keeping calories and nine are excused.
Jeanne Lowe is Best Loser of the Week, and Vickie Johnson is Best Loser in Waiting and Officer of the Week. Secretary report was read by Jeanne Lowe.
Nickelodeon is mashed potatoes. The fruit is cantaloupe, and the vegetable is rhubarb. The food to avoid is cake.
Liz Tanner won the food chart.
The program was reading the TOPS magazine.
The meeting was adjourned with the Friendship Circle and the TOPS Prayer.
