GALETON — Bikers for Trump PA, Larry’s Sport Center lnc. and the Potter County Republican Committee are teaming up to bring a once in a lifetime ride to Potter County.
All motorcyclists and concerned citizens are invited to attend. A donation of $20 will be accepted from each participant in the ride.
Trump Thunder is a 100 mile ride to raise funds in an effort to re-elect President Trump. Any participating motorcycles or cars should fuel up before departure as there will be no fuel stops. The ride and separate demonstrations will also aim to show how proud Potter County is of their state and local police departments, that Potter County “Backs The Blue” and wants to protect their Second Amendment Rights.
Registration for the ride and demonstrations begin at 9 a.m. Aug. 29 and will close at 10:50 a.m. Prior to the ride a motorcycle and car blessing will be performed by Pastor John Sethman at approximately 10 a.m. with music throughout the morning by “Country Traction.”
Kickstands will be up and vehicles rolling by 11 a.m. Larry’s Sport Center will provide coffee and snacks during registration and morning events.
The ride will travel through several Potter County communities and end up at Kightlinger Motors rear parking lot, where speakers will be presented.
Scheduled speakers include U.S. representatives Glenn Thompson and Fred Keller, as well as the president of the state chapter of Bikers for Trump, Dwayne Mcdavitt.
Food and merchandise, including ride T-shirts, will be available. The Coudersport fire department will hold a chicken barbecue.
Voter registration will also be available.
