HARRISBURG — On Sunday, the Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed 660 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 124,460.
The department reported 850 new cases on Saturday.
With 20 news deaths reported on Saturday and 3 on Sunday, the total number of deaths attributed to COVID-19 is 7,468 in Pennsylvania.
Locally, Elk County reported two new cases over the weekend for a total of 56 cases. This includes 44 confirmed cases and 12 probable cases.
The case count in other local counties held steady at 34 in McKean, 21 in Potter and 8 in Cameron.
There are 644 patients who have a positive serology test and either COVID-19 symptoms or a high-risk exposure, which are considered probable cases and not confirmed cases. There are 1,332,403 patients who have tested negative to date.
