The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce will host a virtual chat with Dr. Catherine Koverola, president of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The purpose of this event will be to educate the local community on how the university will manage the return of students for the fall semester.
During this unprecedented time people in the community may have concerns regarding safety. Koverola and her staff have worked diligently to create a plan that not only provides safety for the students and staff but also the Bradford community.
The session will be provided via Zoom. Anyone who would like to attend is asked to email chambercare@bradfordchamber.com or call (814) 368-7115. Participants will be provided the Zoom information once they have signed up. The session will also be recorded and available on the chamber social media pages afterwards.
“We are so pleased the University reached out to us and offered to provide this informational session to our Business Community,” stated Heidi Scrivo Passmore, executive director of the chamber. “This should help to ease any uneasiness. In speaking to Dr. Koverola and University staff, an extensive plan has been created.”
