SMETHPORT (EC) — The McKean County Fair Association will hold a work session, special board meeting and potluck dinner beginning at 8 a.m. Aug. 8.
Community volunteers are welcome to attend.
The dinner is slated for noon. Attendees are asked to bring their favorite dish and the recipe to be included in the second edition of the fair’s cookbook.
During the meeting, which starts at 1 p.m., directors will discuss electricity on the main grounds, as well as any other matters that shall come before the board.
Following the meeting, work will continue on projects as time permits.
