GALETON — The Seniors 2 Seniors technology course will teach basic computer skills, digital literacy and cybersecurity to senior citizens so that they have the knowledge to utilize the many benefits of high-speed internet, such as staying connected with friends and family, utilizing telemedicine, using on-line banking and shopping from home.
The instructor, Brent Bryant, will be assisted by area high school students. The Seniors 2 Seniors technology course is free and is being offered at the Galeton Senior Center on Wednesdays from 12:45 – 1:45 p.m. from Sept. 9 through Oct. 28.
Participants can register by calling the Potter County Education Council at (814) 274-4877, registering on the Potter County Education Council’s website at www.pottercountyedcouncil.org or stopping by the Potter County Education’s Coudersport office at 5 Water St. Space is limited.
