SALAMANCA, N.Y. — A body was recovered from the Allegheny River Sunday in Salamanca, authorities say.
Salamanca Police confirmed a drowning took place, but declined to comment further to “give adequate time to have the family notified of the situation.”
The investigation was ongoing by press time Sunday night.
