RIDGWAY — Bradford City Police and a state police fire marshal are investigating repeated attempts at setting fire to a garage on Greens Court in Bradford.

Ridgway- based state police fire marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti said that between July 21 and 25, someone ignited the exterior of a wood frame garage at 7 Greens Court several times in different places on the building.

All of the fires burned themselves out, police said.

Fire damage was discovered by the property owner, Cyril Emerson, 79, of Bradford, at 10 .m. July 25. The damage is estimated at under $1,000.

Police noted the location of the damaged garage is across the street from a previous act of arson at a vacant dwelling at 62 State St., which occurred March 4.
