HISTORY CLARIFICATION: In The Era’s RTS Tuesday, we began sharing a historical narrative of the Seaward Avenue area, sent to us by an Era reader. We received an update on the material printed from Tom Wilson, which was that John Nelson did live on Spring Street; however, John was the older brother of one Lt. Robert Nelson, who was the pilot killed in Arkansas.
Wilson knew the family well and attended the funeral for Robert Nelson, who was interred at Arlington.
