A Ludlow man accused in two separate criminal cases — a burglary case and an assault case — was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court.
Michael A. Snyder, 31, will serve one to two years in McKean County Jail with credit for 139 days of time served and pay $5,400 in restitution for charges in two cases. Snyder is charged in one case with burglary and theft by unlawful taking and in the second case with simple assault. Court records filed at the time of Snyder’s arrest alleged that on Dec. 13, he threatened to kill his father with a baseball bat during an argument, and he threatened to kill his mother if she didn’t side with him in the argument; then, records alleged that between Jan 3-5, he entered a cabin on Getaway Lane, Wetmore Township, and took about $5,400 in cash.
Also in court, Brandan M. Willoughby, 28, of Limestone, N.Y., pleaded guilty to a charge of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance. According to District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer, on March 2, Willoughby possessed with the intent to deliver about 9.9 grams of methamphetamine. He will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Douglas Smith, 31, of Port Allegany, pleaded no contest to a charge of terroristic threats and three summary charges. According to Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy, on March 6, the bartender at Shooter’s Bar in Port Allegany stopped serving Smith, who was intoxicated; Smith subsequently pushed and made threats to Officer Adam Dickerson. He will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Danelle M. Tompkins, 38, of Eldred, pleaded guilty to a charge of delivery of drug paraphernalia. Between Dec. 5, 2018, and July 30, 2019, Tompkins delivered a marijuana pipe to a 17-year-old, according to Shaffer. Tompkins will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Richard I. Foster, 36, of Titusville, pleaded guilty to a charge of trespassing. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Feb. 10, Foster entered 59 Clarence Ave., Bradford City, which was placarded with a notice stating, “Do not rent or occupy.” Foster will be sentenced Aug. 13.
Jessie S. Jones, 38, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. Murphy said that on Feb. 7, Jones took about $194 worth of shoes and socks from Shoe Department in Foster Brook. She will be sentenced Aug. 13.
The following people were accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program: Brandon F. Camejo, 24, of Bradford, and Beth A. Lewis, 55, both for DUI-controlled substance and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia; and Frank D. Truden, 20, of York, for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
