Open Arms Church Bradford is combining all of its worship services into one this Sunday at 10 a.m. outside of the church at 1289 E. Main St..
“This will allow us to worship as one big family in the midst of God’s Creation,” said Lead Pastor Zoe Hatcher. “Psalms 96:6 says that ‘Majestic splendor emanates from Him; His sanctuary is firmly established and beautiful.’”
Sunday is predicted to be in the high 80s and mostly cloudy. But church officials are ready for the sweltering heat.
“We will have canopies set up, and chairs and bottled water available,” she said. “We also invite you to bring a lawn chair and/or blanket. You may also sit in the back of a pickup truck or other vehicle.”
The Children’s Ministry will be fully reopen inside the church building, in the Children’s Ministry area, offering the Nursery (ages 0-2), Bible Adventures Preschool (ages 3-5) and Konnect (ages 6-11). Check-in and check-out procedures remain the same.
Church leaders are asking everyone to wear a face mask while attending one of the worship services this Sunday in compliance with the Pennsylvania state mask order and for your safety. Everyone is also expected to maintain a six-foot distance from one another unless individuals live in the same household.
The church bus will be running for the 10 a.m. service. Bus stops and pick up times are Save A Lot, 9:10 a.m.; bus stop at Barbour Street, 9:15 a.m.; Marilyn Horne Hall, 9:20 a.m.; Tops parking lot, 9:25 a.m.; and Togi’s Sub Station, 9:35 a.m.

Open Arms Port Allegany will continue to hold its service at 11 a.m. at the Port Allegany town square, off of Main Street.
