On June 20 a friend and I went to the matinee at Bradford Cinema. We parked in the handicap spot in front of the theater and had a placard displayed. We went inside at approximately 12:45 and the meter was at max 2 hours. When we came out I had gotten a ticket for expired meter 10 to 15 minutes prior.
We are encouraged to shop downtown and use local facilities, but incidents like this deter us. Why can’t we have meters that allow more than two hours? If shopping or dining, one can return and add time, but if watching a movie or in a medical appointment it is not always feasible.
