COUDERSPORT — The Potter County Artisan Center in Coudersport will have “Christmas in July” from 1 to 5 p.m. July 25 across the street in the gazebo.
Because of COVID-19, some adjustments have been made. While Santa will be there, he won’t be giving hugs or having children sit on his lap. However, Santa will be standing beside his big magic chair to talk with children and pose for pictures by award-winning photographer Curt Weinhold.
Each child or family will get digital copies of the pictures and each child will get their own Santa Christmas hat.
The chair and surrounding area will be sanitized after each family. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations and state requirements will be followed.
The event is free of charge but donations for the Artisan Center will be appreciated. The center will be open displaying a variety of local art and specialty items for purchase.
