Elk County’s COVID-19 case count has risen again, with Tuesday’s numbers from the state health department indicating 31 positive cases.
According to the health department, 26 are confirmed cases and 5 are probable cases. There have been 1,370 negative tests.
There are 13 confirmed cases listed in St. Marys, with 1 to 4 probable cases. Other communities with 1 to 4 confirmed cases include Weedville, Brockport, Ridgway, Sigel and Kersey.
Ridgway was listed as having 1 to 4 probable cases, too, as was Sigel.
McKean County’s case count remains at 20, and Potter County’s at 18, with 2,289 and 384 negative tests, respectively.
Cameron County remains at 4 cases, with 293 negative tests.
Statewide, there were an additional 929 positive cases of COVID-19 reported as of Tuesday, for a total of 96,671 cases statewide.
A total of 6,931 deaths have resulted from COVID-19.
To date, 850,612 patients have tested negative for the virus.
