SMETHPORT — Hamlin Memorial Library will reopen to patrons at noon Monday following the recommended guidelines from the Center for Disease Control.
The restrictions are as follows:
• The number of patrons will be limited to eight at any given time.
• Masks will be required.
• Social distancing of six feet will need to be maintained.
• Hand washing or sanitizer use is requested.
• Computer use is available, with patrons being limited to 45 minutes.
Browsing is permitted, as long as any materials that are handled are placed in the “Time Out” boxes.
The library will continue with the current schedule until further notice: noon-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mondays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesdays, and noon-five p.m. Fridays.
Patrons may elect to continue using curbside or window service by calling and requesting materials.
Also, the library will hold a Footstomp to Go! event starting at 6 p.m. July 17.
For $10 each, visitors will get a barbecue pork sandwich, two sides and dessert. Diners are asked to pre-order by calling the library by July 16 at 814-887-9262.
