McKean and Elk counties were each reporting an additional case of COVID-19 on Monday.
That brings McKean County’s total to 15, with 10 confirmed and 5 probable cases, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Elk County’s case count was shifted slightly, also, with the three previously reported probable cases dropping to 2, while 5 confirmed cases increased to 7, for a total of 9 cases on Monday.
Potter and Cameron case counts remained the same at 13 and 2, respectively.
Statewide, the Department of Health reported 456 additional cases, bringing the total to 82,186. With 3 new deaths, Pennsylvania is reporting a total of 6,426 deaths due to the virus.
In McKean County, 1,335 have tested negative; in Elk County, 572; in Potter County, 239; and in Cameron County, 175. Statewide, 585,662 patients have tested negative for COVID-19, the Department of Health reported.
Across the state, 6,219 of the total cases were in health care workers.
Meanwhile, 20,230 cases have been reported at 667 nursing and personal care homes in 49 counties. This count includes 17,177 facility residents and 3,053 employees. None of the nursing and personal care homes in the local area have reported cases of COVID-19.
