SOLSTICE AT STONEHENGE: The annual celebration of the June solstice at the Stonehenge monument is canceled this year due to Covid-19. But for the 1st time, you can celebrate the 1st sunrise of Northern Hemisphere summer from Stonehenge online.
The event starts at sunset on Saturday (20:26 UTC, which is 1:26 p.m. EST) and goes through sunrise on Sunday (03:52 UTC, 6:52 p.m. EST Saturday). The event has a Facebook page, Summer Solstice at Stonehenge: LIVE.

SOHO’S 4,000TH COMET: In other space news, this week, a citizen scientist spotted a never-before-seen comet in data from the sun-observing SOHO spacecraft. The NASA/ESA Solar and Heliospheric Observatory – affectionately called SOHO – is easily history’s greatest comet discoverer.
This space observatory is designed to study the sun, but it now also has 4,000 comets to its credit, with the 4,000th discovered this week.
Amateur astronomer and geophysics graduate Trygve Prestgard – originally from Norway, now in Grenoble, France – spotted the 4,000th comet in the SOHO data on June 15, 2020.

BREAKING ROAD RULES: Roadway or Racetrack? With fewer cars on the road, less traffic and an abundance of lane space available to use, one would assume road users are exercising better driving habits. However, since the start of lockdown, the US has faced a surge in speeding and reckless behavior on its roadways, leading to a disproportionate number of accidents and fatalities when compared to the number of drivers.
There have been reports of drivers across the nation traveling more than 100mph, drag racing and chasing speed records and consequently, police officers issuing an increased number of speeding tickets.
