The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed 493 new casis of COVID-19 on Tuesday, as well as 61 newly reported deaths attributed to the virus.
Locally, there was no change, as McKean County remained at 13 cases, Cameron at two, Elk at six and Potter at 11.
Potter County saw its case count steadily uptick last week, as the number of cases increased from four to six on June 3 and then from six to eight on June 4. Then, on June 5, that count upticked to its current number of 11.
Of those, between one and four are confirmed each in Coudersport, Roulette and Harrison Valley. Harrison Valley also has between one and four probable cases.
In McKean County, eight of the confirmed cases are in the Kane area. Kane also has between one and four probables. Bradford, meanwhile, has between one and four confirmed and probable cases, while Duke Center has between one and four probable cases.
