PORT ALLEGANY — On Monday, the S.W. Smith Memorial Public Library resumed some business services for patrons.
Patrons may call the library to make an appointment for copies, faxes and scans. Wireless printing is also available to patrons who have a compatible mobile device (cell phone, tablet, laptop). The library’s laser copier can make black & white or color copies.
Patrons are asked to wear a nose and mouth covering mask when approaching the Library To-Go Window. Library staff will wear a nose and mouth covering mask and disposable gloves when handling patron’s documents and money. Patrons are asked to make an effort to have exact change for their business services to prevent the repeated exchange of money and change back and forth.
The library’s business service prices have not changed since 2016: copies are 50 cents per page; faxes, $2 per outgoing page or $1 per incoming page; free scanning, but patrons must bring a USB drive; and wireless printing, 50 cents per page.
Call the library at (814) 642-9210 to schedule an appointment for the library staff to assist with business needs.
