A Bradford man accused of firearm and drug allegations pleaded guilty Thursday in McKean County Court.
Jeremy R. Bowen Jr., 22, entered the guilty plea to charges of simple assault and possession of a controlled substance. Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade said that on Jan. 11 in Bradford, Bowen threatened a man while displaying a firearm, and he possessed methamphetamine. He will be sentenced July 14.
Also in court, Chad A. Ginkel, 39, of Erie, pleaded guilty to charges in two cases. In one, he’s charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia; and in the second, he’s charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI-controlled substance and a summary charge. According to Shade, on Nov. 20, Ginkel possessed methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl and multiple items of drug paraphernalia; then, on Nov. 3, he possessed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and he drove under the influence of multiple controlled substances. He will be sentenced July 7.
Nancy S. Williams, 60, of Duke Center, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment and a summary charge. According to Shade, between Aug. 16-19, Williams threatened to shoot anyone that was involved in getting another coworker demoted at Keystone Powdered Metal. Her actions caused the company to hire additional security. Williams will be sentenced July 7.
Kristen A. Moore, 37, of Bradford, pleaded guilty to charges of loitering and prowling at night time, disorderly conduct and a summary charge. Assistant District Attorney Bridget Murphy said that on Nov. 30, Moore lingered around a house on South Avenue, and she was in public while under the influence of methamphetamine to a degree that she annoyed people in her vicinity; In addition to wandering around homes, she was wandering near vehicles, too. Moore will be sentenced July 14.
Brandee R. Ross, 38 of DuBois, pleaded guilty to a charge of retail theft. According to Murphy, on Dec. 13, Ross took items valued at $439 from the Walmart in Foster Brook. She will be sentenced on July 14.
On Monday and Tuesday, others appeared from criminal cases in McKean County Court, too, according to court records.
Jason M. Conner, 36, of Cyclone, will serve 10 days to six months in McKean County Jail with credit for 10 days of time served and one year probation, to be served concurrent to the jail term. He pleaded guilty May 28 to charges of firearm not to be carried without a license, DUI-controlled substance, and harassment.
Robert L. Wenzel, 66, of Sheffield, will serve one to five years in state prison for a charge of DUI-general impairment and summary charges.
Damon L. Maull, 35, of Olean, N.Y., was sentenced to seven to 60 days in McKean County Jail for a summary charge of harassment. Maull was initially charged with misdemeanor terroristic threats.
Kaeli Carlson, 19, of Warren, was accepted into the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
