LORETTO — St. Francis University announced that several local students received their academic degrees on May 10.

Local graduates include Melissa Bauer of St. Marys, a Master of Occupational Therapy; Nicholas Cunningham of St. Marys, a Bachelor of Science in health science PA; Alexis DeLullo of St. Marys, a Bachelor of Science in accounting;

Brittany Geitner of St. Marys, a Bachelor of Science in health science PA; McKenna Johnson of Port Allegany, a Doctor of Physical Therapy; Mary Kraus of St. Marys, a Bachelor of Science in early childhood-special education;

Brandee Nearing of Johnsonburg, a Bachelor of Science in behavioral science; Brianna Scott of Smethport, a Master of Occupational Therapy; Allison Vollmer of Kersey, a Bachelor of Science in health science OT; and Olivia Wimer of St. Marys, a Bachelor of Science in health science PA.

LEWISBURG — Four local students were named to the dean’s list at Bucknell University for the spring semester for earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0.

Named to the list are Torie Tezik of Coudersport, Mario Chiappelli of Weedville, Maddie Kear of St. Marys and Anna Cristini of Ridgway.
