A Johnsonburg man was sentenced Thursday in McKean County Court to a jail term for a heroin delivery.
Mark L. Chittester, 26, of Johnsonburg, will serve five to 23 ½ months in McKean County Jail with credit for one day of time served for a charge of possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.
Chittester pleaded guilty Jan. 23 to allegations that on Aug. 14, 2018, he possessed with the intent to deliver about 2.23 grams of heroin.
Also in court, which was held through video conference, Brandon T. Empson, 28, of Tidioute, was sentenced to 23 ½ months of probation for charges of tamper with/fabricate physical evidence and recklessly endangering another person. Empon pleaded guilty March 12 to allegations that on March 1, 2019, he placed an anonymous 911 call because he was present or came upon a person who had overdosed. Empson left the site, removing a syringe and bag containing about .46 grams of a heroin/fentanyl mixture; he put the syringe in a garbage can in front of Bradford Regional Medical Center and the bag of heroin/fentanyl in a garbage can in front of School Street Elementary School, endangering students and staff.
Jason M. Conner, 36, of Cyclone, pleaded guilty to charges of firearms not to be carried without a license, DUI-controlled substance and harassment. According to Assistant District Attorney Ashley Shade, on Jan. 20, Conner drove a pick-up truck in Keating Township while under the influence of a combination of drugs; Also, he concealed a firearm and used threatening language toward another person. Conner will be sentenced June 1.
William J. Greek Jr., 28, of Kane, will serve two days to one year in McKean County Jail with credit for two days of time served and one year of consecutive probation. Greek pleaded guilty Feb. 20 to a charge of simple assault. Court records filed at the time of Greek’s arrest alleged that on Nov. 17, Greek, while under the influence of alcohol, punched a woman in the face multiple times.
Jason M. Tucker, 31 of Olean, N.Y., will serve 10 days to two years in McKean County Jail for charges of DUI-general impairment and summary charges.
Kaitlyn N. Billyard, 25, of Smethport, will serve a term of probation with restrictive sanctions for charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, DUI-controlled substance and a summary charge.
Samantha J. Perkins, 27, of Olean, N.Y., will serve five days to six months in McKean County Jail for charges of DUI-general impairment and a summary charge
Nicole L. Lamont, 31, of Emporium, will serve six months of probation with a period of restrictive sanctions for a charge of DUI-controlled substance and summary charges.
Cristy D. Curtis, 41, will serve eight months of probation for a charge of retail theft. Curtis pleaded guilty March 12 to allegations that on April 1, 2019, she took orange soda and flashlights from Walmart.
