UPMC for Life members can earn up to 250 Tuition Rewards Points each month by taking online fitness classes through SilverSneakers.
“It is important for all of us to focus on healthy ways to combat stress and anxiety. At UPMC Health Plan, we know that staying physically active is one of the many healthy choices our members can make, especially with the SilverSneakers program,” said April Golenor, Chief Medicare Officer for UPMC Health Plan. “Due to the COVID-19 regulations and the need for social distancing our team has supported efforts to create an opportunity for Medicare beneficiaries to move their bodies and continue to create a sense of community with other fitness enthusiasts. Through this event, our members can stay connected and active to alleviate stress and improve their physical health.”
UPMC for Life is proud to be the Pennsylvania state sponsor of National Senior Health & Fitness Day for the 13th year in a row. This is the largest annual health event for older adults in the U.S.
