HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Department of Health reported as of Thursday that there were 980 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 65,392.
There were no changes locally in positive case counts.
McKean County has had 11 cases, with 447 negative tests.
Potter County’s positive case count stands at 4, with 123 negative tests.
Elk County has had 6 positive cases, with 272 negative tests.
Cameron County’s positive case count stands at 2, with 110 negative tests.
There are 4,869 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 102 new deaths.
“As counties move from red to yellow, we need all Pennsylvanians to continue to follow the social distancing and mitigation efforts in place,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said. “We must continue to protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, which includes our seniors, those with underlying health issues, our healthcare workers and our first responders. I am proud of the work that Pennsylvanians have done so far, but we cannot stop now, we must continue to take the necessary steps to protect ourselves from COVID-19.”
There are 303,514 patients who have tested negative to date.
