As of Monday, 11 positive or probable cases of COVID-19 have been reported in McKean County by the state health department, an increase of one since last week.

According to the data, Kane has seven confirmed and at least one probable case. Bradford has no confirmed cases and at least one probable case, as does Duke Center.

The state health department said on Monday that there were an additional 822 positive cases of COVID-19 in the state, bringing the total to 63,056.

Elk County has had six positives and 238 negatives. While the department’s data had previously listed one person from Elk County had died from the virus, that number has changed. The county’s information on the department’s website indicates no deaths.

Potter County has had four positives and 117 negatives.

Cameron County has had two positive cases and 86 tested negative.

As of Monday, there were 4,505 total deaths attributed to COVID-19, an increase of 87 new deaths.

“As counties move from red to yellow, we need all Pennsylvanians to continue to follow the social distancing and mitigation efforts in place,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said. “We must continue to protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, which includes our seniors, those with underlying health issues, our healthcare workers and our first responders. I am proud of the work that Pennsylvanians have done so far, but we cannot stop now, we must continue to take the necessary steps to protect ourselves from COVID-19.”

There are 277,553 patients who have tested negative to date.
