McKean County has two more reported cases of COVID-19, with Department of Health data indicating two probable cases, one in the Bradford ZIP code and one in the Duke Center ZIP code.
Tuesday’s data showed 8 cases for McKean County, 6 of which were in the Kane ZIP code. There have been 250 negative tests and one death.
Also according to Tuesday’s data, Elk County had 5 positives, 222 negatives and one death.
Potter County had four positives and 102 negative tests.
Cameron County had two positives and 80 negative tests.
Statewide, there were 837 additional positive cases of COVID-19, bringing the statewide total to 57,991.
The state is reporting an increase of 75 new deaths, bringing the statewide total to 3,806 deaths in Pennsylvania.
“As counties move from red to yellow, we need all Pennsylvanians to continue to follow the social distancing and mitigation efforts in place,” Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine said. “We must continue to protect our most vulnerable Pennsylvanians, which includes our seniors, those with underlying health issues, our healthcare workers and our first responders. I am proud of the work that Pennsylvanians have done so far, but we cannot stop now, we must continue to take the necessary steps to protect ourselves from COVID-19.”
There are 237,989 patients who have tested negative to date.
In counties which have entered the yellow phase of Gov. Tom Wolf’s reopening plan, which includes all local counties, freedom of travel remains, but health officials ask that the public refrain from non-essential travel. Essential travel includes things like commuting to an essential job, picking up supplies like groceries and medicine, and checking on family and pets in other households. Do not host or attend gatherings.
