The store at the Zippo/Case Museum reopened Sunday, with reduced hours and other social distancing-related policies in effect. The museum portion of the building must remain closed at this time, in line Gov. Tom Wolf’s Stay-at-Home and Yellow Phase Reopening Orders.

Until further notice, the Zippo/Case Flagship store will be open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. It will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A maximum of 25 guests will be allowed in the building at a time.

The store has designated 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. as a dedicated shopping time for senior citizens and those with underlying health conditions that put them more at risk of infection.

The famous Zippo Repair Clinic also resumes operations the week of May 10 but will be unable to process on-the-spot repairs for the time being. Repair requests will be accepted in-store, but once repaired products will be returned the owners by mail.

“We are glad to be able to welcome our customers back to the museum store this Sunday and we will be closely adhering to all mitigation requirements to keep both our visitors and employees safe,” said Kyle Kleiderlein, manager at the Zippo/Case Museum and Flagship Store. “Our full range of Zippo, Case, Ronson, and Northern Lights Candle products are in stock — just in case anyone needs Mother’s Day gifts. And while in-store personalization services will be unavailable at first, we are hoping to resume offering engraving again soon.”

As with all other retail stores open at this time, face masks must be worn by both customers and store staff alike while in the building and customers may notice additional barriers and no contact procedures in-place.
