As many businesses prepare to re-open after the mandated pandemic-related closures, one of Bradford’s two branch offices of CNB Bank will face a different fate. The branch office will not re-open, according to bank officials.
Local CNB customers received a letter in the mail Thursday titled “Important Information for Bradford Customers.”
The letter began with hopes for good health for the customer and family. The letter recognizes current challenges for customers and notes that CNB is working to keep “customers connected with their money.”
The letter goes on to say,
“You should be the first to know, the branch office located off the Foster Brook exit, at 1001 East Main Street in Bradford, which had been temporarily closed, will not re-open.”
The letter states that the ATM and night deposit at that location will continue to be available through Aug. 15, 2020. It also states “Rest assured there will be no interruption to your accounts and we look forward to seeing you for all of your in-branch banking needs at our downtown Bradford office located at 12 Chambers Street (or any CNB location, of course).”
The letter discusses the fact that CNB offers cash withdrawals from any MoneyPass ATM for customers, free of charge and encourages those with questions to call the Customer Service Center at (800) 492-3221 or talk to a local bank representative.
It is signed by Christopher Stott, CNB Market President.
CNB Bank has 10 locations throughout Centre and Clearfield counties, six in McKean and Elk counties (Kane, Ridgway, two in St. Marys and two in Bradford) and one each in Duncansville, Indiana, Pa., Punxsutawney and Northern Cambria.
The website listed Vickie Baker as the Community Office Manager for the East Main Street office. It also lists that the location has an ATM available but no drive-up or lobby hours.
CNB officials at the Clearfield headquarters did not respond to a request for comment.
