It is sad to see what is happening in America. Have the people forgotten the sacrifices made by past generations? Have they taken freedom for granted?
In America, we have opened our shores to those seeking freedom but many use it to change our government to their way of thinking. We must resist those changes. We cannot resist with protests and violence; we must resist by informing the leaders of our government that we will no longer support them in their bids for re-election.
In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, we put our trust in our government to use many different means to keep us alive and well. These leaders may not always be right and may cause inconveniences, but they are acting to save you. Everybody thinks they have a better idea. Let the scientists find the treatment and cure for this virus. Stay home and protect yourself and others. Protests only show the ignorance of those who take it upon themselves to lead others in a protest.
Free Americans have the right to protest but not when it means illness and death to others. If we all work together we will see an end to this virus and our nation will again return to what it once was, free and prosperous.
World War II showed the ignorance of leaders like Adolph Hitler and Hideki Tojo. These leaders brought death and destruction to their countries. We must all work together to keep America free, while standing behind our government until it makes huge mistakes. Then we, with our votes, can remove leaders from office. This is the American way.
Protests can only cause violence. It was once said, “The pen is mightier than the sword,” and your vote is mightier than your protest.
Working together, we can defeat the coronavirus.
