With the release of Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s 3-Phase Plan, it’s time to prepare for reopening. But where does one begin?
The Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Bradford Office of Economic and Community Development, the McKean County Department of Economic Development, and the Bradford Area Alliance, will host a 45-minute cyber/conference call titled “Getting to the Other Side of COVID-19: Helping Businesses Prepare to Re-Open.”
The webinar, which will include a call-in number option, will take place at 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
“This virtual event will provide timely, relevant and useful information to area businesses as we all look to safely reopen,” the Chamber’s executive director, Heidi Scrivo Passmore, commented.
Because Pennsylvania businesses are required to have a reopening COVID-19 plan, this webinar will cover possible changes employers will have to implement for the safety of their employees and customers. The event will also include best practices learned by local businesses who have remained open as well as a brief discussion regarding resources and funding that is readily available to businesses during the pandemic.
“This session is intended for industry, retail, and service organizations of all sizes,” Susan Hughes, president of the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, said. “We have been pleased to collaborate with other leaders in our community to present the most relevant information that we can provide to the Bradford and McKean County community.”
Those wishing to attend should email Shane Oschman by Tuesday at soschman@bradfordchamber.com to receive the webinar information. This session will also be recorded and made available to those who cannot attend the live session.
