RIDGWAY — No one was injured in an accidental fire that happened Sunday afternoon in Kane.
According to Ridgway-based state police, a fire happened at 3:42 p.m. Sunday in a one-story wood frame home at 217 Walnut St., Kane.
The building’s occupant, Randon L. Moore of Kane, was home at the time of the fire, but he found the smoke and was able to get out without injury.
The building is owned by Naomi J. Moore of Kane, police said.
State police fire marshal Cpl. Greg Agosti and the Kane Fire Department investigated the fire’s origin and cause and ruled the blaze to be accidental. Damage is estimated at $100,000.
