COUDERSPORT — UPMC Cole’s Express Care Clinic located at the Irwin Medical Arts Center, 1001 E. Second St., Coudersport, is now offering virtual visits for patients ages 3 and above.
All one needs for a virtual visit is an internet connection and a connected device. Smartphones and tablets are preferred.
“Our goal is to provide patients with convenient access to care for non-emergent ailments in the comfort of their own home,” said Timothy Brown, vice president of operations, UPMC Cole. “We have been fortunate to offer this type of service for our patients in our primary and specialty offices as well.”
UPMC Cole’s Express Care Clinic is a walk-in primary care clinic designed to meet the medical needs of patients who are not able to see their regular medical provider during routine business hours. It is recommended for patients with non-emergent conditions including cough, cold symptoms, flu, sore throat, fever, upset stomach, diarrhea, rashes or skin conditions, insect/tick bites, and minor eye problems. It is not intended for use in medical emergencies or in place of an emergency department.
Clinic hours Monday through Friday from noon to 7:30 p.m., and weekends from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
