COUDERSPORT — No injuries were reported in a one-vehicle accident that happened at 8:39 a.m. Friday on Route 49 in Ulysses Township.
According to Coudersport-based state police, a sport utility vehicle driven by Joann K. Nelson, 35, of Coudersport, was traveling east, when it went out of control, struck a utility pole and rolled over.
The SUV sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene, police said.
Police reported that Nelson will be cited for failing to drive at a safe speed.
RIDGWAY — Ridgway-based state police are investigating the theft of a motor vehicle from a home in Brockport.
According to police, at 11 a.m. April 3, a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer with Pennsylvania registration HWN2849 was found to be missing from 254 Keystone Road, Horton Township. The victim is listed as Daniel Webster, 63, of Brockport.
Police believe that a female acquaintance of Webster’s is operating the Blazer. Her identity was not released.
