The Penn State Extension will host a webinar on Ticks and Tickborne Diseases in Pennsylvania in May.
The webinar is for woodlot owners and will focus on what can be done to control ticks in the environment.
The registration deadline is May 4, and the webinar will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. May 5.
Topics to be covered include tick ID and biology, diseases that are spread by ticks, how invasive plants interact with ticks and what woodlot owners can do to lessen the impact of ticks in their forests.
