WARREN — The USDA Forest Service is currently reviewing requests from West Penn Power Company to renew their special use authorizations in Elk and McKean counties.
West Penn Power Company is requesting a renewal for 31.19 miles of powerline rights-of-way located in Jones, Ridgway, and Highland Townships in Elk County, and Hamlin and Wetmore townships in McKean County totaling approximately 126 acres.
The Forest Service is proposing to re-authorize the use and routine maintenance of these rights-of-way with no changes to location, scope, or intensity.
