Children’s activities: Here is a continuation of a list of activities for your children to engage in while being stuck home due to the coronavirus.
-Make a “chores bingo”: Fill each square with things such as “brush your teeth” or “put away your clothes.” When they earn a bingo, give them something special, such as an extra snack or extra time on the computer, etc.
-Make a sticker book: Grab a stapler, some paper and stickers and have your child decorate a custom sticker book.
-Go bird watching: Have your child identify five different birds outside and take note of what they look like. Next, do some research online to find out more about them.
-Teach them a simple recipe: Teach basic cooking skills by making simple things such as a grilled cheese sandwich or fresh baked cookies.
-Write opinion pieces: Have your child read a book, do research or watch a movie and write an opinion piece, including what they thought of the work and if they would recommend it to others.
