A Falconer, N.Y., woman is in McKean County Jail after she allegedly struck two nurses at Bradford Regional Medical Center.
Jessica L. McAdoo, 26, of 34 W. Main St., Falconer, was arraigned Sunday before District Judge William Todd on two counts of aggravated assault, second-degree felonies; and one count of terroristic threats, a first-degree misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, at 11:44 a.m. Sunday, Bradford City Police were dispatched to the psychiatric floor of BRMC for a report of a patient assaulting staff. Police arrived to see several staff members securing McAdoo on the hallway floor.
Police learned that McAdoo, while being processed to be released from the hospital, allegedly punched one nurse in the throat and another in the cheek. She was subdued until police arrived.
While McAdoo was being subdued, she threatened employees multiple times, saying, “I’m gonna cut you, I’m gonna stab you when I get up,” the complaint stated.
McAdoo is incarcerated in lieu of $10,000 bail. She is scheduled to appear in Central Court on April 1.
