Premature babies will still be born, cancer patients will still rely on platelets and accidents, traumas and emergency surgeries will still happen. The need for blood does not stop.
A blood drive is scheduled for noon to 5:30 p.m. Monday at St. Bernard Church in Bradford.
The Community Blood Bank is urging all healthy individuals to continue to donate blood. There is currently less than a one-day supply of blood on the shelf.
Blood collection activities are NOT considered mass gatherings; rather they occur in a controlled environment with a healthy population.
Expect a staff member to take your temperature upon entering any of our draw sites. Your temperature will be taken again as part of our routine screening process. CBB is also taking staff members’ temperatures before they begin their workday to ensure everyone at our blood drives is feeling healthy and well.
