OLEAN, N.Y. — In order to comply with the directive of Gov. Andrew Cuomo banning large gatherings due to the Coronavirus pandemic and to protect the health and wellbeing of our patrons and the public, the Archbishop Walsh St. Patrick’s Day Party and Raffle is postponed.
It has been rescheduled to April 25, and will still be held at STCS/Walsh School at 208 North 24th St. We will draw winners for all the advertised prizes on the new date and the full party will proceed as planned at that time.
If the ban on gatherings has not been lifted by the April 25, the cash prize winners — including the $20,000 grand prize — will still be drawn on that date and broadcast on a live internet feed. However, in such a case, the party would not take place.
All purchased tickets are still valid. Tickets will remain available for sale online, at our school and at the following community locations. Worth W. Smith, 1624 W. State Street; Olean Area Chamber of Commerce, 301 North Union Street; Sports Locker, 711 West State Street; The Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels Church, 202 South Union Street; St. John’s Church, 931 North Union Street; El Sombrero Mexican Restaurant, 315 North Union Street; by contacting the school at 716-372-8122; or online at www.stcswalsh.org. They will remain on sale until April 25.
