WASHINGTON — Out of an abundance of caution, the office of U.S. Sen. Pat Toomey on Friday announced that all ceremonies currently planned to commemorate veterans will be postponed.

Ceremonies had been scheduled for March 25 to 27 in Danville, Slippery Rock, Sharon, Girard and Meadville.

As soon as new ceremonies are organized, that information will be made public. Pennsylvania residents should continue to follow the guidelines recommended by public health officials.
