In response to concerns about the spread of COVID 19, Bishop Lawrence T. Persico of the Erie Diocese has dispensed the faithful from the obligation of attending Sunday Mass immediately and until further notice.
The measure was in union with the bishops of Pennsylvania.
Despite the suspension of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass, and recognizing the importance of prayer, all scheduled Masses will continue to be celebrated and remain available for those who wish to attend.
