A pair of Bradford Lady Owls earned All-D9 League honors for their efforts this season.
Guards Erica Marshall and Hannah Lary each made the team, which was announced on Tuesday.
A senior, Marshall nearly averaged a double-double this season, posting 11 points per game and 9.4 rebounds. She was honored this season for eclipsing 500 career rebounds, and stands as Bradford’s all-time rebounds leader.
She will continue her athletic and academic career at St. Bonaventure University, where she will run track and cross country.
Lary led the Lady Owls in scoring this season with 18.6 points per game. She also chipped in an average of five rebounds each contest.
The Lady Owls finished this season at 10-13 and made the District 9 playoffs for the first time in four years.
Other athletes named to the All-D9 League team were Brookville’s Marcy Schindler and LAuren Hergert, DuBois’ Abby Guiher, Elk County Catholic’s Taylor Newton, Punxsutawney’s Sarah Weaver, Riley Presloid and Chloe Presloid and St. Marys’ Kaylee Muccio and Kyla Johnson.
Newton was named league MVP and Defensive Player of the Year, while Chloe Presloid was Rookie of the Year. Brookville’s Kira Powell was the Comeback Player of the Year.
