KANE — A luncheon fundraiser will be held later this month to support the Friends’ Memorial Public Library in Kane.
For $7, diners can get soup, pie and a beverage all for $7. The Kane Community Center on Fraley Street will host the luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 17.
There is plenty of seating, but organizers recommend attendees come early enough to choose which soup and pie to try. There will also be opportunities for purchasing basket raffle tickets and 50/50 chances.
Lunches are available to “eat in” or “take out.” This has been a major fundraiser for the library for many years.
