Dress up the dentist’s office: Joy Pascarella of Bradford shared a poem she wrote for a local dentist, Randall L. Valentine, DMD, MSD, on Market Street in Warren, following a visit to the office. The poem, with permission, is now framed and on display in the office for other visitors to enjoy.
Keep that dazzling smile
Periodontal disease causes
Gum recession and can
Rob you of your smile –
Your teeth will become loose
After awhile.
Even though you brush your teeth
And remember to floss –
Periodontal disease eventually
Leads to tooth loss.
It is important to visit a dentist
who specializes in periodontal
Disease… so you can save your
Teeth, eat well, and smile as much as you please.
Era staff did receive a photo of the poem on display, but sadly the photo did not reproduce to share with our readers. However, Pascarella graced us with another poetry submission as well, this one about family.
Gramma’s Love
Gramma gives warm hugs
And she always has ice cream –
Gramma pinches my cheek
As she smiles with a gleam.
Gramma knits soft blankets
And winter mittens too –
When I spend the night at Gramma’s
House there’s plenty for us to do.
Gramma tells me stories and
Bakes cookies and pies…
When I leave my gramma’s house
I’m sad to say goodbye.
