SMETHPORT — The United Methodist Church of Smethport announced that the United Methodist Women’s group will once again sponsor a Lenten Devotion and Luncheon each Wednesday in Wesley Hall during Lent.
The devotions will begin at 12:05 p.m. with a buffet-style lunch to follow. The speakers for the Lenten Luncheons are as follows:
Feb. 26 — Rev. Allen Young; March 4 — Judge John Pavlock; March 11 — Dorothy Dart; March 18 — Judy Evens; March 23 — Susan Roboski; April 1 — Rev. Rob Hernan; and April 8 — Bill Miller.
The church is located at the corner of King and Church Streets in Smethport. Everyone is welcome to attend. A donation of $6 is suggested.
The church has also announced that there will be a 7 p.m. service in the Sanctuary each Wednesday evening during Lent.
