The public is invited to attend an Ash Wednesday service sponsored by the Bradford Area United Methodist Cluster at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church in Lewis Run.
Speaking will be the Rev. Al Hammer, the new executive director of Olmstead Manor. The title of his sermon will be “Return to Me,” taken from the book of Joel, Chapter 2, Verses 1 and 2, 12 through 17.
The service will include Communion and Imposition of Ashes. An offering will be taken to benefit the cluster.
