In regard to Dee Baxter’s letter to the editor in the Feb. 17 Other Voices, I would like to comment.
In John 8:7, Jesus said, “He that is without sin among you, let him cast the first stone.”
It was stated in the letter that President Trump was unfaithful. Well, have you forgotten about John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, and Bill Clinton, who insisted, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman?”
Trump has done more for this country. The fact is Joe Biden has been in public office for 44 years, Sen. Charles Schumer 38 years, Speaker Nancy Pelosi 32 years and Rep. Maxine Waters 28 years.
Yet they blame all of America’s problems on Donald Trump, who has been in office only three years.
We should not be killing babies and taking God and prayer out of our schools and government. Our country was founded on “In God We Trust.” Seems that Christians have no say in the matter.
Since Trump became president, employment is up. Unemployment is down, especially for the minorities. Manufacturing is coming back from overseas.
We need to spread love, not hate. One day every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Phil. 2:10).
So, with that being said, we need to respect our president and pray for him. All of you who hate Trump, I will be praying for you.
Our country is going to be great again, just wait and see.
