The Catholic Community of Bradford is sponsoring a Soup and Chili Contest from 6 to 8 p.m. Feb. 29 at the G. Carlton Ritchie Hall, St. Francis Drive, Bradford.
The contest is between the three Catholic Churches: St. Francis, St. Bernard, and Our Mother of Perpetual Help.
The overall favorite winner’s parish will receive the “Traveling Trophy.”
The public is invited to participate in eating/sampling the contestants’ soup and chili submissions. Cost: Adults $10; Children 6-12yrs $5; 5yrs and under free; Max. cost per family $25.
Dinner includes Chili and soup, tossed salad, bread, dessert, coffee/tea. Leftovers may also be available for purchase.
The proceeds will benefit the St. Francis Bell Choir music ministry.
