The Forest Service for the Allegheny National Forest is proposing a series of actions to bring the Yette Project Area into better balance with goals and objectives, identified through the Forest’s Land and Resource Management Plan.
The proposed activities include tree harvesting, reforestation, large wood recruitment, wildlife habitat improvements, changes and improvements to roads and the removal and control of non-native invasive plants.
Project activities will take place in McKean County, specifically in Hamilton, Hamlin, Lafayette and Wetmore Townships.
The public is invited to comment on the proposal. Further information can be found at https://www.fs.usda.gov/projects/allegheny/landmanagement/projects.
