A Galeton man is facing allegations that he sexually assaulted a girl during a 3-year-period.
John McCullough, 58, of Galeton, was charged following an investigation by Coudersport-based state police into a report of sexual assault.
Police said the allegations happened between Jan. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2018, in Galeton Borough. The alleged victim is a 14-year-old girl.
McCullough is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, IDSI with a child and unlawful contact with a minor, first-degree felonies; two counts of aggravated indecent assault, second-degree felonies; corruption of minors, a third-degree felony; and two counts of indecent assault, one a first-degree misdemeanor and the other a second-degree misdemeanor, police reported.
Police said McCullough was arraigned Wednesday and committed to Potter County Jail in lieu of $200,000 bail.
